Shocking Truth About Dog Foods Sold In The Market

How much do you love your dog?  A lot of household these days consider dogs as part of their family. Hence, they try to give them the best that the market has to offer. Since dogs have distinct taste when it comes to food choices, some rely on the experts when it comes to dog foods. Hence, they buy the leading brands of dog food available to simply show their pet that they truly care. But behind the fancy looking labels and packaging designs, do you know some horrible truths about some dog-food products?

Your dog’s meal may look very appetizing on its ads but the exact opposite can be true in reality. It may be rancid, lack of valuable nutrients and simply not best for your beloved pet. When the manufacturer claim that their products have lots of meat content, do they specify what kind of meat are they using? They may be using dead meat of dogs, racoon or cat, stricken with serious illnesses before they died. Worse is, they may have been killed through euthanasia using sodium phenobarbital. This substance will be passed on to your dog, compromising its health. There were reports submitted about a plant operating in Baltimore which processes around 1,800 animals every month. And do you know where they sell their products? To many leading dog food brands in the market. And the sad news is, they are getting their meat sources from suppliers who kill dogs using Sodium Phenobarbital. And since we know that these types of plants exist then it will not be surprising to find people selling decaying racoon meat that they found on their way home to dog food manufacturers.

If you truly love your dog, make sure that you feed it with human grade meat. It must have undergone USDA inspection and safe to eat.
